Make no mistake…..this IS a big one! Mark Blake and the MB Bluz Band have got a rocket with their latest release titled “Doin’ My Thang”! From the opening cut “No Thanks To You” to the final cut “One Click from the Blues”, this is a non-stop shot of electric-BLUZ! As Blake makes it perfectly clear in the title track of this disc “I’m just doin’ my thang……don’t get in the way!”

Even when the guys try to tone it down a little, “Blue Eyed Girl of Mine” and “Old Man”, there still is a bit of “butt-rockin’” rhythm goin’ on!

With the steady back beat of his band members, Jeremiah Murphy on Bass and John Peterie on Drums, Blake and co-executive producer Jary Segal, have come up with another dynamite collection of full fledged BLUZ. A great mix of gravelly and gritty vocals and killer guitar solos fill this CD with a great display of modern day BLUZ!

Mark has really put together an awesome CD. He has done a great job writing and putting together a collection of original works that really defines the blues. If you're a hard-core blues fan, this is a good one to have. If you're a not-so-hard-core blues fan, this CD will make you one in a short time!! Highly recommended!!!!

I Love, "One Click From The Blues"

I had rarely listened to the Blues as a Genre, til Mark Blake stopped by my Paltalk Music Room one night, and started sharing his tunes. "Doin My Thang" is the best sound I have heard in a very long time. I Love, "One Click From The Blues", it is definately a chatroom favorite. There are so many good songs on this CD, it is a must for any Blues Fan.

If you have ever been a Blues fan or want to find out what smokin’ Blues is all about, you MUST get this CD! Mark and the boys are fantastic. My only regret is not finding out about MB-Bluz Band sooner. If you get the chance, see ‘em Live for an unforgettable experience, till then get the CD and get ready.
